A Warmer Than Usual Hike

So I’ll finally be bagging Monrovia Peak today. I’ve been looking forward to doing this for a while now. However, I was hoping it would be done in low 70 degree weather with some cloud cover. But we can’t win it all. The forecast for tomorrow calls for 83 degrees peaking at about 3pm. By that time though, we should be on our way down. But still, it’ll be a nice warm hike.

With this weather, that means going back to a “summer” load out. For me at least, that means 5 liters of fluids; 3 liters of water and 2 liters of G2 Gatorade. That also means that it’s time to break out the boonie cap.

Expect a report from Ze and myself for this one.
