Site Updates
So a quick rundown on some of the changes that have gone on here in the past 24 hours.
> Moved the Google Friend Connect boxes from the right column into a single bar. Or the Social Bar as they call it. This is placed at the bottom of the page. I think it looks better than having random boxes at the bottom of the sidebar.
> Twitter Updates – I created a Twitter account and put a “Twitter Update” box at the top of the sidebar. Quite honestly, I don’t see any real practicality in using this. Sending a tweet from the trail is (a) annoying, and (b) tedious since trying to find reception would be a chore in itself. But this could be useful for posting comments when at REI or Sports Chalet about gear or something. We’ll see though.
> Links – Updated the Links portion in the lower right sidebar. I tried to make it predominantly bloggers in the SoCal region.

so we can ‘tweet’ things like “Joe just got poison oak all over his legs”, and then “Joe is oozing out of the rashes right now” for people to read? Sounds like a winner
